Where We'll Be

The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey

Friday 2 April 2027 · Ceremony at 2.30pm

The Venue

The Tithe Barn

A restored stone barn on the Bolton Abbey estate.

We're marrying at the Tithe Barn — a beautifully restored barn set on the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey estate, deep in the Yorkshire Dales. Think honey-coloured stone, soaring oak beams and candlelight, with the River Wharfe and the priory ruins a short stroll away. It is, we think, one of the loveliest corners of the North — and we cannot wait to share it with you.

Make a weekend of it

Brontë Country & the Dales

Bolton Abbey sits right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and Brontë Country — a part of the world made for a slow weekend. If you're travelling to be with us, here are a few of our favourite things to see and do while you're here.

On the doorstep

Bolton Abbey

The 12th-century priory ruins sit beside the River Wharfe, with the famous stepping stones to tiptoe across and miles of riverside and woodland walks through Strid Wood. Bring boots — and a sense of adventure for the stones.
